Readily recognizing the superiority of God’s Word over man’s words, it is the strong and purposeful intent of this church to be ruled in accordance with the Bible. We believe that this constitution is subordinate to the Scriptures themselves and it is our deepest desire that this constitution would accurately reflect the Word of God and would, in fact, be borne out of the Scriptures. In relation to governing documents for our church, the following priority will be observed in governing this local body: 1) the Bible, 2) the Doctrinal Statement, 3) the By-Laws.
